Artist:    Jadzia

Jadzia is a native Californian who is now living in the San Diego area. She founded her company in 1990 in Vista, Ca. with the vision of creating, manufacturing and retailing unique art and jewelry. Formally trained in fashion design and production, Jadzia has been evolving as an artist, drawing on many influences to make her a pioneer in creating bold, accessible "wearable art". Specializing in necklaces and wall hangings, Jadzia is also available for custom designs.

Her hand-made necklaces are all one-of-a-kind or very limited editions. Each infuses elements from many cultures, such as beads from India, amber from Russia, and Chinese coins combined with Jadzia’s own strong sense of color.

These purses are fun pieces of "functional art". Collaged and quilted with Jadzia’s usual love of color, they make beautiful accessories. A practical size of 7x6" with a 44" strap, these little bags are convenient, accessible and unique.

Wall hangings by Jadzia Designs are all masterpieces in color and texture. Intricate combinations of silk, cotton, velvet, lace and other fabrics are collaged together with a unifying color to create a strong theme.
